We are currently looking for a Full time VT, MT2 & UT 2 Technician to handle the following Job Responsibilities-

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform shear wave UT work for structural steel and Pile welds.
  • Create detailed reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate with administrative staff to create final reports to send to clients
  • Enhance and encourage teamwork among other NDT Technicians.
  • Ensure a complete understanding of the applicable codes and standards.
  • Ensure conformity to the requirements of the CWB, ASME, and CSA Inspection Group's documented quality management system

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the NDT field
  • Required CGSB UT 2 & MT2 (Other CGSB certifications would be an asset)
  • CWB Level 2 Certification
  • Flexibility to work in town, out of town, nights and overtime would be an asset
  • Additional NDE/API certifications considered an asset
  • Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, TDG PST/CSTS, eGSO, and WHMIS training
  • Valid drivers' license with a clean driving record
  • Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented and well organized
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour
