We are currently looking for a Full time VT, MT2 & UT 2 Technician to handle the following Job Responsibilities-
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform shear wave UT work for structural steel and Pile welds.
- Create detailed reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinate with administrative staff to create final reports to send to clients
- Enhance and encourage teamwork among other NDT Technicians.
- Ensure a complete understanding of the applicable codes and standards.
- Ensure conformity to the requirements of the CWB, ASME, and CSA Inspection Group's documented quality management system
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the NDT field
- Required CGSB UT 2 & MT2 (Other CGSB certifications would be an asset)
- CWB Level 2 Certification
- Flexibility to work in town, out of town, nights and overtime would be an asset
- Additional NDE/API certifications considered an asset
- Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, TDG PST/CSTS, eGSO, and WHMIS training
- Valid drivers' license with a clean driving record
- Drug & Alcohol screening
- Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour
