Caterpillar’s Global Construction & Infrastructure Division (GCI) is hiring a Sales Manager for Canada. This role has 5 direct reports and supports all dealers in country. If you’re looking to continue your leadership experience in a role loaded with impact, this may be a great fit for you.

**Role Summary**:Lead a team of Caterpillar field reps, supporting Cat dealers and customers to increase customer loyalty and influence machine sales.

**What You’ll Do**
- Support and develop product sales, dealer effectiveness, overall segment growth, warranty policy, etc.
- Influence upper management within dealerships to adapt or change policies, implement marketing/sales programs, hire personnel and organizational structure changes.
- Train, develop and mentor team members.
- Deliver business plan sales and market share targets for the company products.
- Develop sales and marketing plan and manage merchandising plans to achieve business plan targets for company products and services.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through management of product and commercial issues; Oversee service goodwill spending on all products within the industry segment.
- Lead the selling opportunities identification, customer satisfaction improvement and business relationship enhancement.
- Deliver GCI Retail business plan sales and market share targets for the for the two dealers in the Canada district.

**What You Have (Core Skills)**
- Extensive Decision Making and Critical Thinking skills
- Strong Relationship Management and Effective Communication skills
- Strong Customer Focus: Extensive and progressive experience in positions that required dealer or customer facing activities
- Strong Value selling and Business Development capabilities
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Multiple positions held in sales or technical field roles
- Sales variance management experience
- Contract management experience
- Prior formal or informal leadership experience
- French speaking capability

**Additional Details**
- Travel extensively within region (50%+) is required
- Work location: Vaughan, Ontario
- Domestic relocation assistance is not available
- A company vehicle is provided for this role
