**Job description**
- **Dynamic Defence Litigation**_
At Jones Kopp Litigation Partners LLP, we are a seasoned and dedicated team of legal professionals specializing in civil defence litigation. We focus on building strong relationships with our team, while striving to provide exceptional client service.
**Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications**:
- 2-3 years of experience in Insurance Defence Litigation, tort and accident benefit files;
- Law Clerk or Legal Assistant diploma/certification from an accredited institution;
- Solid understanding of the _Rules of Civil Procedure_;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Detail oriented with an ability to prioritize.
**Primary duties will consist of the following**:
- File organization and practice management;
- Preparation of correspondence, briefs, memos and other legal documents in accordance with the _Rules of Civil Procedure_;
- Maintain lawyers’ calendars;
- Schedule meetings, discoveries, motions, mediations and pre-trials;
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and PC Law as well as possessing a minimum typing speed of 60wmp;
- Work well independently and thrive in a team environment and;
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
