**Job Description**:
The **Controller** is responsible for the financial management of AIM - Ontario division through the interpretation and communication of financial results and insights, creation of forward-looking forecasts, and recommendations to management on financial strategy. The Controller's main challenge is to continuously improve the financial results, through cost reduction, process optimization, financial analysis, and management of financial targets.

**What you're responsible for**:

- Overseeing the daily operations of the financial department.
- Providing leadership and support to the company.
- Coach and mentoring to all direct reports, providing guidance, training, and career development.
- Preparing, analyzing, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results.
- Managing the month end process for multiple divisions and create efficiencies where possible.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across the company
- Coordinating external audit.
- Evaluating accounting and internal controls and make improvements where necessary.
- Supporting integration of new acquisitions into the company.

**Qualifications**:

- You have a CPA Designation.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- You have a service-oriented. collaborative and team-first attitude.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You have expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
