About ENA Electronics:
ENA Electronics Inc. (Est. 1999) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified electronics repair and PCB reverse engineering company.
The company was founded in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Originally the company was involved in the: automotive, steel, pulp and paper, food and beverage, nuclear and military industries.
Over the last number of years, the company has shifted its focus to the renewable energy industry. ENA specializes in the repair, reverse engineering and extensive testing of electronic components and provides third party support and service for operators and OEM’s.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible to lead month end close of financial statements
- Monitor cash flow and manage timing of payments;
- Creation of financial models using excel (Power pivot, pivot tables, Vlookup) for job costs reports and budgets and other ad hoc analysis
- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages; detailed profit and loss statement analysis with focus on gross profit, provide recommendations for productivity, profit improvement and cost containment activities
- Supervise and provide leadership and support to other accounting team members
- Develop/maintain/improve timely and accurate information systems which aid in planning, control, and management of the operation; ensure the reliability and effectiveness of internal controls over financial processes
- Manage finance department operations, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
- Oversee the monthly/annual tax filing requirements and monthly remittances to the government in multiple jurisdictions
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts across all functions and provide ongoing assessments of financial performance against these plans
**Qualifications**
- Completion of a related (business and/ or accounting) degree or diploma program with an accounting designation required; preference given to CA, CPA
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience in a Controller capacity
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented with an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in order to meet deadlines
- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
