Nucor Vulcraft Canada is looking for a Controller to join their team. The role of the Controller is to participate as a member of the Division’s Leadership Team and to execute on Nucor’s mission to Grow the Core, Expand Beyond and Live our Culture. The Controller is expected to actively lead, mentor and develop a highly functioning, cohesive team, as well as work to promote cross-departmental teamwork, alignment and collaboration. The Controller will work with the management team to provide long-term strategic planning as well as create focus on delivering near-term results. This person will also work closely with the Vulcraft/Verco (VVG) management teams to ensure alignment and execution with the VVG business strategy. The Controller will need to personally demonstrate the values that make up the Nucor Culture.

**BASIC FUNCTIONS**:

- Leadership of the division with direct oversight of the Finance department.
- Uphold Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide long-term strategic planning while delivering near-term results.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-functioning, cohesive Finance team.
- Actively participate and drive the division’s safety efforts.
- Lead, nurture, and advance the Nucor culture.
- Develop and implement strategies that create an Inclusive and Diverse Workplace.
- Align and execute on the Vulcraft - Verco Group enterprise strategies.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business or Finance
- Prior leadership experience.
- Must be adept at embracing and driving change.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a valid passport and be able to travel to the U.S.
