Human Resources Manager

**Job description**
Since 1991 Aluminum Window Designs (AWD) has been servicing the high-rise new construction and renovation industry by providing a wide range of high-performance windows.
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to add to our team.
**The position**:
Reporting directly to the General Manager. This position will develop and manage policies and programs in the areas of recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, health & safety, employee and labor regulations for both employees and owner operators.
**Responsibilities**:
- Administer and Develop Company Policies on Recruitment, Employee Assistance, Recognition Awards, Sexual Harassment and Discipline and in all other areas of concern.
- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety and Workplace, Safety and Insurance Act Compliance. Conduct Accident Investigations and oversee security. Conduct safety campaigns and inspections. Develop Award Program for Safety.
- Manage all WSIB claims and return to work programs and accommodations.
- Oversee training programs for hourly workers and managerial staff. Ensure proper maintenance of training programs.
- Ensure equal employment opportunity compliance. Administer affirmative action. Handle discrimination and harassment complaints. Hear employee concerns and complaints
- Investigate and administer, develop (if applicable) Incentive Pay Plans. Conduct job analyses, job evaluations and wage surveys.
- Manage and oversee all the leaves and vacations
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of payroll to be sent to Head Office Payroll Administrator
- Oversees the Human Resource Assistant, Safety Coordinator and Training Officer.
- Creates Performance evaluations for all levels of employees at the Company.
**Position Qualifications**:
Human resource designation preferred or working towards a designation.
Minimum of 5 years management experience, with at least 5 years in a Human Resources role
University or College degree in related field
