**Who are the Wilder?**

The Wilder is a social enterprise which creates experiences for people to learn about nature, to connect with each other, and to inspire creativity. We host workshops from mushroom foraging to plant walks, community events, art installations and activations for festivals and events.

We are looking for someone to work with our Director and support upcoming projects. If you are creative, an artist, or have experience coordinating events, or even working in fabrication and production, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome diverse skills and applicants and have different opportunities arising this year for various projects. We need help with all or some of: creative design, fabrication of art installations, coordinating events and activations, hosting community activities, volunteer coordination, site coordination, social media and advertising, business and administration.

**Who are you?**
- Creative ideating about installations and activations
- Painting, fabricating, setting up activations
- Event coordination, logistics, volunteer and staff coordination
- Hosting community art activations
- Digital marketing, advertising, social media

We are looking for someone to join our team who possesses some of the following skills and interests:

- Creative, artistic (desirable but not essential)
- Has a positive and can-do attitude, and who loves learning and thinking outside the box
- Must have a flexible work schedule as we will be busier at certain times around events, available weekends and some weekdays and can align working time with our Director’s work days
- Can operate independently with motivation and drive, reporting to our Director but taking on projects and tasks independently and sticking to deadlines
- Can manage multiple tasks, making sure our events and activations run seamlessly, who can solve problems and adapt on the fly
- Experience with videos, photography, digital marketing, or graphic design (desirable but not essential)
- Event experience, art experience, workshop hosting, facilitation or similar
- Tech savvy and confident using online technologies, and a bonus if interested in digital art, or installation art/set production or at least willing to learn and help out where needed
- Graphic design and social media expertise would be an asset but not essential
- Must be able to work from home and have your own phone and computer, access to internet, and if based in lower Mainland, must have access to a vehicle to join the Director in Squamish regularly

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
