Construction Project Coordinator

Working from our Ancaster, Ontario construction project site office, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Design Build Solutions team in ensuring the projects progress on budget and on schedule.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist Senior Project Manager with overall project performance on multiple projects within the organization.
- Assist the Senior Project Manager with issuing subcontracts and monitoring their progress.
- Assist the Senior Project Manager with establishing project safety & environment programs and providing proactive leadership.
- Manage record keeping and documentation control
- Manage the flow of information between the contractors and the Senior Project Manager
- Maintain logs pertaining to shop drawings, RFIs, SIs, COs
- Assist in preparation and revision of contract documents.
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in tendering and evaluating subcontractors
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in verifying contractor are complying with scope of work
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in updating the project schedule
- Attend site meetings in addition to taking meeting minutes.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to project team
- Submit contractor site RFI’s to the Senior Project Manager.
**Experience and Skill Requirements**:
- Experience working on multiple projects and meeting stringent deadlines within in a results driven, and service focused environment where you were committed to doing your best work, took responsibility for your own actions and decisions, and delivered results that supported your organization’s goals.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and openly with clients, team members and supervisors in a timely and positive manner.
- An outstanding and positive attitude and are dependable and consistently deliver high quality professional service.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft MS Office Suite, including MS Word and MS Excel.
