We’re a major employer in the local region, we have more than 180 employees working throughout the operation -- mill production, sales & shipping, woodlands, truck and mobile equipment shops, and administration. Contract and part-time employees are also employed in maintenance, transportation, and seasonal activities.

**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking to hire a **Sales and Shipping Manager **for our manufacturing facilities near Slave Lake, Alberta. Job duties include:

- Manage sales efforts and process/facilitate all sale order transactions including shipping within and outside of Canada
- Maintains excellent working relationship with customer accounts; promotes positive relations with outlets, wholesalers, vendors, and other distributors
- Receives and prepares inventory of saleable and rough products as required
- Maintains and monitors records and reports; maintains shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment functions
- Coordinates shipping via trucks with loader operator(s) and prepares appropriate documentation

Working Conditions:

- Required use of appropriate PPE when in the lumber yard

Must have:

- 3 - 5 years’ of experience selling building materials
- A diploma or degree in business administration or commerce with a specialization in sales or marketing
- Strong communication and team skills, well organized, self-motivated, able to work with mínimal supervision and have a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of lumber brokers and their requirements
- Computer literacy is mandatory

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Slave Lake, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
