We offer competitive wages with a full benefits plan, as well as optional RSP plans.The OpportunityWe are currently looking to hire a Chip Truck Driver for our manufacturing facilities near Slave Lake, Alberta. Job duties include:Responsible to haul chips on a regular basis to various locationsDaily pre-trip inspectionsCleaning units as requiredAdhere to Vanderwell’s written safety, maintenance and inspection programsMinor mechanical repairs as requiredWorking Conditions:Exposed to noise, dust, falling debris, moving machinery, weather extremes, splinters, slipping and tripping hazardsLifting heavy, awkward objects and climbing on equipment may be requiredRequired use of PPE appropriate for the task and working conditionsMust have:A solid work ethic, be eager to learn, and be a team playerProficient written and verbal communication skillsA valid class 1 driver's license is required, in addition to Super B driving experienceA clean driver’s abstractCandidates If this position sounds like a fit for you, please apply directly through the portal.We thank all candidates for their interest; only candidates selected to advance in our recruitment process will be contacted.
