- Our Underwriters provide complete solutions for Canadian small businesses. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk, and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties.- They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly.- While they are already experts in their own field, Northbridge is committed to their ongoing growth and development. Working in a collaborative team they provide coaching, mentoring and development for less experienced underwriters.- In other words, they're awesome. - Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Building relationships with brokers
- Creating success in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Helping others develop through coaching and mentorship- You have :- 2+ years of Underwriting experience in property, casualty, automobile
- Completed, or pursuing your CIP designation
- Strong customer service background
- Team-first mentality
