As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you set the pace and tone for your team—leading by example to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Whether you’re supporting the Housekeeping Manager or leading the team on your own, you keep daily operations on track, ensure high standards for cleanliness and presentation, and foster a positive team culture. This role blends hands-on work with leadership and problem-solving. You lead with clarity and professionalism, adapt easily to changing priorities, and build strong working relationships across departments to keep operations seamless.

**A day in the life**
- Leading and supporting the housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure all guest rooms and linens meet resort standards
- Running pre-shift meetings to align the team on daily priorities, special requests, and operational updates
- Assigning room assignments, deep cleans, and project tasks based on occupancy levels and business needs
- Managing call-outs by coordinating on-call staff based on availability, guest volume, and shift coverage
- Assisting hands-on with room cleaning, resets, laundry, and seasonal deep cleaning projects as needed
- Conducting regular room inspections and providing timely coaching to ensure consistent quality
- Coordinating with the Front Desk and Facilities teams to manage early check-ins, maintenance needs, and guest priorities
- Responding to guest service requests, including special setups and VIP amenities
- Overseeing the laundry room to ensure it remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Tracking room statuses, supply levels, and shift activity using Asana, 7shifts, and internal systems
- Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and on-the-job training of new team members
- Acting as the shift lead in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager to ensure continuity of operations

**What we hope you'll bring to the team**
- At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience, ideally in a hotel, resort, or similar operational setting. Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adjust plans quickly based on occupancy and staffing levels
- A natural ability to coach and support others, offering clear direction, encouragement, and feedback
- Confident decision-making skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest service
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays, to support business needs and operational flexibility

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
