After 15 years of dedicated service, our Executive Housekeeper is moving on to pursue new interests. An independent property located on Victoria's inner harbour, we’re looking for an exceptional individual with extensive housekeeping experience in full-service hotels and proven experience leading teams. Proudly affiliated with Preferred Hotels and Resorts, Hotel Grand Pacific is renowned for its stunning rooms, excellent amenities, and personalized service.

We’re looking for someone who is truly passionate about developing a fantastic housekeeping team and providing incredible guest experiences.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Executive Housekeeper will:

- Ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the Housekeeping Department
- Create the departmental budget
- Review and develop existing housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure safety and service excellence
- Complete scheduling and payroll submission for all Housekeeping staff
- Conduct inspections to ensure housekeeping standards are met and assign cleaning tasks as required
- Recruit new housekeeping staff and organize the training process
- Monitor staff performance, conduct reviews, and coach and motivate employees to achieve desired performance standards
- Complete monthly inventory stock lists
- Provide thorough training on health & safety protocols and ensure adherence from all housekeeping staff
- Oversee accurate and secure Lost & Found administration
- Develop and maintain effective communication with all Hotel departments
- Effectively address employee and guest concerns
- Ensure guest expectations are consistently met or exceeded in cleanliness, service and product.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- At least 5 years of recent experience as a housekeeping manager or supervisor in a large, full-service hotel
- An approachable, hands-on leader with proven experience hiring, training and developing staff
- Professional, clear and effective verbal & written communication skills
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Highly proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Knowledge of Opera PMS preferred
- WHMIS training
- Experience in a unionized property is a big asset.
