**Why this role is significant**

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you play a significant role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, both in support of and in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager. You promote personal empowerment and accountability by establishing and enforcing service levels, all while serving as a trusted point of contact for your team and guests.

**A day in the life**
- Lead the daily pre-shift housekeeping meeting and ensure that all guest rooms and villas are serviced based on daily reports.
- Ensure that the janitorial team performs daily servicing of all common areas within the resort.
- Coordinate the team to complete all room attendant duties as per the daily checklists.
- Distribute daily room and deep cleaning tasks to team members and actively monitor and coordinate with the Housekeeping Manager.
- Actively support laundry, room, and janitorial attendants, ensuring that daily tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards.
- Support and participate in all large-scale housekeeping projects.
- Foster an environment of teamwork and dedication by empowering your employees.
- Monitor the team's skills and identify areas for improvement through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Resolve conflicts or concerns that arise between team members effectively.
- Assist with onboarding and training programs for new employees.

- Open availability including weekends and holidays required.
- 2 years of experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred.
- Previous supervisor or management experience is preferred.
