**Position: Surface Land Administrator**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for overseeing the management of surface assets in Alberta, requiring current experience in Alberta administration.
- In charge of establishing and maintaining surface land records, updating databases and schedules, with proficiency in CS Land software.
- Collaborate on the coordination of obtaining surface rights for Alberta Crown and Freehold lands, ensuring accurate documentation for audits.
- Provide general administrative support to the area coordinator.
- Address both internal and external inquiries related to surface land matters.
- Process vendor updates, damage releases, annual rental updates, and issue related payment cheques.
- Manage Reclamation Certificates and handle terminated files.
- Assist in environmental and regulatory groups on abandonment and maintenance projects.
- Issue Road Use and Third-Party Agreements as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Surface Land Administration is required.
- Possession of a relevant degree, diploma, or certificate from a recognized Land program.
- Familiarity with Mapping/GIS software is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills are expected.
- High precision and meticulous attention to detail are crucial.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are a must.
