We are actively growing, both through the development of our current asset base and through the potential acquisition of additional properties in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Hawthorne Energy LLC operates in Canada through our wholly-owned subsidiary HWN Energy, Ltd.

HWN Energy, Ltd. is currently seeking to fill the following position:
**Job Title: Surface Land Analyst (Permanent)**

**Location: Calgary**

**Reports to: Surface Land Manager / Vice President of Land**

The Surface Land Analyst must be motivated, committed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment within a high-performance team. Multitasking and priority setting skills will be necessary to manage the day to day activities.

**Surface Land Analyst**
- Administering, maintaining, and processing documents related to Surface Land matters.
- Review and audit land acquisition packages received from land service providers.
- Analyze surface files and ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure all landowner payments are received in a timely manner.
- Address any surface related post-closing inquiries Audit and prepare landowner and
construction packages.
- Input and maintain surface land records in CS Register and discharge instruments and
encumbrances on title Review, code, and track surface invoices.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in CS Explorer, Accumap, Abadata, Microsoft
Office, AMS, OneStop, IRIS, ETS, EDS, ISC & SPIN. Excellent organization, communication,
and interpersonal skills.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent analytical and interpretive skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Minimum 5-10 years experience of Surface Land Analyst/administrator.
- Graduation from an accredited Surface Land Program.
- Post-secondary university education considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to participate effectively in
a dynamic team environment.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills using sound judgment and an aptitude for research.
- A keen interest in delivering results in a timely and efficient manner.
- Land broker experience considered an asset.
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
