Who are you?
A highly motivated Intermediate Surface Land Administrator looking to join our dynamic Land team with a focus on the coordination of day-to-day surface land support to the Surface Land Supervisor and Senior Surface Land Administrator. Being comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams in accounting, facility and development, and drilling is critical in order to foster an upbeat and driven work environment.
What will you do?
- Maintain accurate records within the physical file and land database
- Ensure all surface land supporting documentation is timely and accurately processed
- Responsible for internal & external requests for information including road use and third party
- Prepare and update supporting land documents such as line lists, surface acquisition reports, public consultation reports and notifications
- Process monthly surface land rentals, joint interest & road use billing
How will you be successful?
- 3-5 years working knowledge of surface land procedures, relevant legislation and regulations
- Diploma or Certificate in Surface Land Administration
- Experience either with a Land Broker or in house professional
- Administration experience dealing with both Freehold & Crown Lands
- Proficient in land computer systems such as CS Land, Spin, and Abadata
- Knowledge of regulations affecting surface land in AB
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrate initiative, teamwork and attention to detail
- Effective follow-up and time management skills
- Organized and able to meet strict deadlines
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
