Family Residence Manager

The Nightlight Family Services Centre Manager will be responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of programs at Nightlight Family Services Residence and reports directly to the Director of Programs.
- Full-time, salaried position (35-44 hours per week)
- Compensation starts at $52,552.50 annually
- Regular shift is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.4:00 p.m., with on-call shifts during evenings, overnights and weekends on a rotating basis.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Deliverables include, but are not exclusive to, the following:
- Provide direct oversight of Emergency, Short-Term Housing-Focused and support programs;
- Hire, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate direct reports as assigned;
- Ensure programs and services are delivered in accordance with the organization’s program standards and meet the standards of governing bodies;
- Ensure that intakes, case management and discharges are completed according to current Emergency Shelter Operating Standards;
- Perform the duties of the HIFIS administrator for the organization;
- Submit accurate attendance and participation data monthly;
- Follow prescribed protocol for responding to incidents and occurrences;
- Provide on-call support for staff information and shift coverage as part of a rotating schedule;
- Maintain facilities and assets in accordance with security, maintenance and housekeeping plans, and Club policies.
**Qualifications**
- This position requires a minimum of five years’ experience in leadership role managing programs and services and a post-secondary diploma/degree in: Child and Youth Studies; Child and Youth Care Worker; Social Service Worker; Social Worker; Community and Justice Services/Correctional Worker; or a Related field. - Required at time of hire
- Standard First Aid with CPR Level C and AED - Required at time of hire
- Immunization records - Required at time of hire
- Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle - Required at time of hire
- Food Handler’s certification - Required within 3 months of hire
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification - Provided at time of hire
- Government and organization-mandated training - Provided at time of hire
