Burnside Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Client Care Specialist or VA

We are looking for another energetic, enthusiastic, empathetic individual to join our ever-growing team As the first and last contact you will be the face of the clinic and essential in creating lasting relationships through effective communication and trust.

Your primary roles:

- Triaging the need for emergent care
- Effective internal communication between clients and veterinary staff members
- Keeping a clean environment and re-stocking of supplies

Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy and customer service
- Ability to multitask under pressure in a busy stimulating environment
- Works effectively as a team or on their own, either with or without supervision
- Graduate of an approved veterinary assisting diploma program or animal healthcare background preferred
- Previous client service/client care related experience required
- Existing knowledge of medical terminology and veterinary computer software systems (Avimark) an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (required)
- veterinary clinic: 1 year (preferred)
