Golden Door is currently recruiting 0.5 EFT Health Care Aides Permanent Evening Position.

Position overview:
Under the supervision of the Care Coordinators and the day-to-day direction of the Team Leaders (RN, RPN &LPN), Health Care Aide performs routine functions involved in the provision of holistic quality resident care.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certificate program.

Required Qualifications:

- Ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Physical and mental health to meet position demands
- Genuine interest in and concern for residents
- Must have good attendance in present position
- Must be able to communicate in English including written documentation
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
- Maintain a professional appearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Clinical experience in the provision of geriatric care in a health care facility is preferred.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.

**Job Types**: 0.5 EFT Permanent, Part-time

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $18.66-$21.75 per hour
