be able to perform the following duties:

- Ensure client safety and security by supervising the home environment.
- Perform meal planning and preparation, routine housekeeping activities such as making/changing beds, dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, and laundry.
- Provide companionship including social interactions, conversations, emotional reassurance, and encouragement of activities that stimulate the mind.
- Escort clients to medical facilities, errands, shopping, and outings as specified in the care plan.
- Assist clients with communication by writing or typing correspondence for them or researching information for them.
- Monitor supplies and resources.
- Follow the written care plan.
- Observe clients and their environments and report unsafe conditions to the Supervisor.
- Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of service.
- Make decisions and solve problems.
- Performs other duties as required.

- mouth care - dressing - exercise
- hair care - feeding - toileting
- nail care - positioning - medication reminding
- skin care - transferring/lifts
- Must complete a college-level health care aide/Nursing care aide program and obtain a health care aide license.
- Must have level C first aid CPR certificate.
- Must complete non-violent crisis intervention, PHIA, P.I.E.C.E.S, and WHMIS training.
- Must be able to pass criminal record checks, adult and child abuse registry checks, and driving record checks.
- Must provide immunization records including COVID-19 vaccination proof.
- Should have own transportation.
- Should be able to provide 3 work references.

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
