As the Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient accounts payable department for a busy Civil Construction Company

The position requires you to be comfortable and capable of working independently with limited supervision

Applicants with prior experience in civil construction are preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

- Receiving and organizing backup for invoices from field staff
- Matching invoices to backup and purchase orders
- Identifying missing documentation and obtaining copies in a timely manner
- Identifying invoices that require additional review by field staff, communicating with the appropriate parties, and maintaining records of outstanding requests
- Communicating regularly with Director of Finance regarding invoice issues, and / or aging invoices
- Assisting with entering approved invoices into QuickBooks accounting system
- Entering Purchase Order information into QuickBooks
- Reviewing vendor statements on a regular basis to ensure all invoices have been received and communicating with vendor any discrepancies found
- Ensure proper document control
- Organizing staff expense and credit card receipts, and preparing monthly reconciliation of credit card accounts
- Working closely with Administrative Assistant, sharing duties as needed

Additional Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be fluent in English
- Intermediate skills in Excel, Adobe, Outlook and QuickBooks
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $46,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
