- _Works independently to perform a variety of duties such as the maintenance of updated purchase records_
- _Process PO requisitions and place PO’s with qualified suppliers utilizing the latest pricing secured in the company database_
- _Implementation of strategies for procuring, storing, distributing and maintaining inventory for all plant locations_
- _Work closely with production teams in all locations to ensure alignment with levels of inventory necessary for manufacturing demands_
- _Process all receiving paperwork, matching PO’s to invoices for the payables department_
- _Ensure all transfers are completed in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction_
- _Create and distribute reports pertaining to planned orders, shortages, schedule changes and inventory_
- _Monitor business trends and product availability to optimize total landed costs without sacrificing quality or delivery times_
- **Qualifications**:_
- _Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy_
- _Minimum 1-2 years of Purchasing administrative experience_
- _Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills_
- _Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills_
- _Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a team_
- _Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook_
- _Profit master database knowledge considered an asset but not required_
- _Manufacturing or building supply experience an asset_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
