**What you will get to do**:

- Monitors staff efficiency based on customer traffic and in conjunction with company goals and initiatives. Oversee Hot Counter maintenance, housekeeping, and daily set up and execution of all poultry counter functions.
- Maintain Hot Counter product presentation and a clean and food safe work environment. This includes proper sanitation/cleaning of all equipment (cook tables, fryers, sinks, coolers) and cases, as well as proper handling and storage of products by following all food safety standards.
- Ensure that all Fresh Chicken products for “ready to eat” hot meals are prepared as per the outlined process and required food regulations. Ensure that all products (up to 50 lbs) required for Hot Counter preparation are unpacked and restocked as needed.
- Product rotation management, minimizing waste in relation to objectives and goals and maintain inventories for product display and presentation. Maintain an attractive display case through effective merchandising.
- Supervise and monitor all aspects of the food prep, cooking, cleaning, and repackaging of product with respect to Fresh Chicken, rotisserie chicken, potatoes, salads, and sandwiches.
- Recommend and coordinate Fryer oil change and Fryer acid wash based on cooking frequency and management assignment.
- Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all assigned work activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner. Advise on the recruitment of staff and provide training to all new employees. Ensure compliance with uniform requirements.
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

**Your education & experience matters to us**:

- Background in Poultry and Meat industry is an asset.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or retail business is an asset.
- Previous experience in the Quick Service restaurant business is an asset.
- Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc.;
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS;
- No specific Education requirement

- Fast paced retail environment. Wet and cool conditions as well as very warm and humid conditions. Some heavy lifting.
