Overview Seasonal Sales Associate at Hot Topic — join the loudest store in the mall. We’re looking for music and pop culture fans to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, helping fans get the merch they love, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in a visually appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience. What You'll Do Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, supported by product knowledge and customer service skills. Cover the sales floor and maintain visual standards in assigned areas. Operate the register to process sales and drive add-on sales, including benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup; assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixtures, and merchandising mix. Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and respective HQ partners. Collaborate with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry around theft. Maintain the stock room organization and overall store tidiness. Work as part of a team and contribute to a positive team environment. Additional duties as assigned by the Store Leader. What You'll Need Previous experience in a retail environment; if you love music and pop culture, you're in the right place. Strong customer service and selling skills. Must be at least 16 years old to join the fandom. Collaborative and good communication skills. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
