The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible to the Executive Director or the Director of Care. They ensure and support the implementation and evaluation of the resident care services in accordance with applicable provincial standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that the highest standard of resident care is delivered and maintained at all times. They promote teamwork and a culture that demonstrates the guiding principles of AgeCare; Trust, Respect, Teamwork, Quality and encourages practices that respect resident, family and staff rights, individuality, and diversity.

Within the scope of this position, the Care Coordinator takes on a key role to continually provide an environment promoting a culture of resident quality of care and safety and freedom from harm and injury.
