**Who We Are**

**The Role**

As a Sr. Carrier Relations Manager in logistics, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with carrier partners to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods through the supply chain. Your primary focus will be to negotiate contracts and rates with carriers, manage carrier performance, and identify opportunities to improve carrier services and reduce costs.

**Who You Are**
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in carrier relations or logistics management
- Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating contracts and rates with carriers
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software systems
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with internal and external partners

**What You'll Do**
- Develop and maintain relationships with carrier partners
- Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers in collaboration with the internal Logistics team.
- Manage carrier performance by setting service level expectations, finalize documentation & initiate conversations and action plans to address any fault to the expectations.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with carriers in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement carrier performance metrics
- Analyze carrier performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Recommend and implement solutions to improve carrier services and reduce costs
- Monitor industry trends and developments to stay informed of changes that may impact carrier services and costs
- Conduct regular meetings with carriers to review performance, identify issues, and collaborate on solutions
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations with respect to logistics
- Manage the internal Carrier Management group
- Assist with creating processes to aid the carrier relationship managers and onboarding managers
- Main holder of Logistics Projects (encompassing all areas - carrier relations, operations) with regard to documentation and communication to the teams
- Spearheads communications from the Logistics team to the internal teams
