**Position Overview**:
This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and management reports.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and cash flow projection.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking and reporting on stock levels.
- Perform day-to-day data entry and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and discrepancies.
- Manage monthly and year-end closing processes, including reconciling key accounts such as bank, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting and control-related procedures and best practices.
- Work with external accountants on projects such as corporate tax returns and SR&ED submission.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Current enrollment in or completion of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation would be a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in full-cycle accounting including closing processes and related reconciliations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
