We are fully licensed, WSIB-registered and insured. We service Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and surrounding areas.

**Qualifications, Skills and Abilities**:

- Knowledge and skill in carrying out all aspects of renovations
- Ability to manage a range of small to large residential/commercial renovation projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently on the tools and as a leader of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, management, crew and sub-trades
- Strong sense of construction timelines, order of scheduling, sub-trade management
- Keen attention to detail with ability to track changes in scope and notify the client and management
- Ability to read and work from building plans, with a working knowledge of the OBC
- Strong carpentry skills
- Strong framing, insulation, drywall, taping, and finishing skills (trim & doors)
- Proficiency with all tools and equipment
- Ability to work productively and in a timely manner to ensure all schedules are met
- Ability to take measurements and calculate material take offs
- Knowledge of green building approaches an asset, but not required

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to commit to the environmentally friendly vision of Blom Contracting as a green renovation company
- Must provide own transportation and a valid “G” License
- Must have own hand tools

**Terms of Employment**:

- Full-time
- Compensation, based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $32.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay
