Knowledge regarding mandatory specifications and requirements is a must. We are looking for someone to take on a leadership role within the team that can provide supervision and assistance as needed on the job site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing job sites and employees by ensuring that quality and timely work is executed up to standard specifications.
- Provide the team with clear and concise directions and providing training as needed to improve performance and productivity.
- Ensure work is being completed while adhering to OHSA and Health and Safety policies. Frequently assessing the job site and actively recognizing and mitigating risks.
- Carefully planning out construction projects to maximize time and profitability. Responsible for preparing any required documentation for the project such as locates, permits, etc.
- Work with inspectors as necessary on the job site.
- Communicate and effectively deal with any project delays or emergencies on the job site.
- Monitor and manage project profitability. Identify areas where improvements can be made.
- Quoting jobs such as renovations, decks, framing, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Valid G class Drivers License
- Motivation to learn new skills
- Supervisory/ leadership experience is an asset
- Knowledge and experience working in the construction industry
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of OHSA standards

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 2 years (preferred)
- Construction/ Carpentry: 2 years

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

- civil construction: 2 years (preferred)
- Supervising: 2 years (required)
- Carpentry (renovations, decks, framing, etc.): 5 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (required)
