Technical Service Project Manager/coordinator

Sutherland-Schultz is a multi-trade contractor specializing in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction services across Southwestern Ontario. Executing intricate and leading-edge projects, we give our customers the confidence and competence to tackle complex construction challenges.
**Functions of the Job**:
- Update and maintain all job files, project status, bid packages, and project and billing schedules.
- Assist in preparing RFI’s, RFQ’s, shop drawings, as-builts, and reports.
- Manage and arrange active projects to be executed in a comprehensive schedule
- Review all job and work order vendor invoices.
- Cost all completed work orders and jobs and once approved prepare and send to client.
- Book logistics and travel arrangement.
- Prepare purchase orders and subcontracts using the JONAS system and distribute to suppliers.
- Prepare formal proposals, memos, and letters under the direction of the Project Manager.
- 3+ years experience as a Project Coordinator/Manager, experience with a General Contractor preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft, including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, & Project
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- High level of initiative and keen interest in construction and problem solving
