**What you’ll be doing**:
The Project Coordinator - East - West Region role provides a high level of quality in project delivery for projects of any level of complexity and size.

Consistent with Gerrie’s commitment of service excellence to our customers the role will follow proven project coordination/management processes to deliver value to our customer with an on time, on budget right the first time approach. Documentation of project delivery will be done to the highest industry standard monitored and measured by the Gerrie process.

Working closely with the Project Service team the major job responsibilities are for the coordination of project delivery to contractors for projects of any level of complexity and size

Ensuring timely delivery of products and solutions while maintaining close cost controls

Coordination of approval packages with suppliers and consulting engineers

Complete project documentation following Gerrie proven processes and practices

Creating schedules of values, preparation of progress billings and assisting with amendments to existing purchase orders (i.e. change orders)

Coordinate credit issues with Gerrie credit department and/or related Branch Manager or Account Manager

Coordinate pricing of change orders with suppliers and internal Gerrie resources as needed

Ensure project close out documentation is complete including As-build packages and warranty letters from Suppliers

Ensures issues are escalated to appropriate management for prompt investigation and action as required

Keep PSGS and others informed about project status and issues that may impact customer relations and project success

Provides input to PSGS for revenue and margin forecast for managed projects

Interact with customers and suppliers in a professional and timely manner

Work with project service team in maximizing project delivery processes

Help the branch with any requests that they may have: including but not limited to mitigating risk for project disputes and proven practices in project coordination

Adhere to the company’s standard policies and procedures

**What you bring to the table**:
5+ years in the electrical industry

Technical college diploma and/or project management diploma

Established relationships with manufacturers and contractors

Excellent knowledge of the electrical industry and products

Technical knowledge of electrical distribution products and solutions

Ability to interpret distribution single line drawings and lighting and lamping layouts

Experience in Excel, word, PDF Converter, JDE is an asset

Excellent math and organizational skills

Must be personable, sales orientated and possess a good work ethic
