Overview Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager to support multiple active and upcoming projects from their Cambridge office. This role will focus primarily on preconstruction and project coordination for a strong pipeline of long‑term care, retirement, and mixed‑use developments across Southwestern Ontario. The ideal candidate will be organized, technically proficient, and motivated to advance within a dynamic and reputable construction team. Responsibilities Provide project coordination support during preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases. Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Assist in developing and maintaining construction schedules using Procore. Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and trade partners to ensure timelines and quality expectations are met. Support claims management, budget tracking, and cost reporting alongside the Project Manager. Attend project meetings, record minutes, and monitor action items. Contribute to a collaborative and proactive office culture focused on quality, teamwork, and client service. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of construction experience, ideally as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager. Previous work with a general contractor on institutional, multi‑unit residential, or commercial projects. Strong understanding of document control, scheduling, and construction administration. Excellent organizational and communication skills in client‑facing environments. Proficiency with Procore (training provided) and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work primarily from the Cambridge office, with site visits as required.
