MEDSPORT OTTAWA is looking for an administrative assistant in a sport medicine clinic.

This position includes administrative work, receptionist duties, and some physiotherapy aide tasks. We are a multi-disciplinary team of doctors and allied health professionals including physiotherapists and massage therapists. Therefore this is a combination of medical office assistant and physiotherapy receptionist work. We are looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys working with patients and thrives in a busy environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in working with a team Experience or interest in working in a medical office or a physiotherapy clinic is an asset.

Mandatory qualifications include post-secondary education in a related field, experience with electronic medical records or ability to learn computer software quickly, reliable and punctual, excellent patient service skills, ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment, and fluency in English. Knowledge of EMR systems like Accuro or Jane is an asset.

There is some flexibility in shift scheduling but two evening shifts to 7pm is necessary. We are closed Friday evenings and weekends The position is full-time permanent. There is opportunity to grow and assume greater responsibility for the motivated individual. Hourly wage is commensurate with experience with range from $17-24/hour.
