Supply Chain Coordinator

Steamworks Brewery is looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our passionate team in Burnaby. At Steamworks we combine innovation, community, and sustainability to craft award-winning beer and memorable experiences.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the supply chain process - from procurement to inventory management and logistics coordination. You will work closely with our brewing, packaging, sales, marketing, finance, and distribution teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and sure timely delivery of our products.
**Duties**:
- Develop and oversee supply chain strategies to meet production and distribution goals.
- Source and maintain relationships with suppliers for materials, packaging, and logistics.
- Monitor inventory levels across multiple facilities and implement demand forecasting tools.
- Oversee logistics for procured items.
- Own end-end-end execution of vendor management including optimizing vendor payment terms and make recommendations on contracts and service agreements and leading the procurement related to budgeting processes for fiscal year financial planning.
- Own the price/quantity discrepancy process, ensuring you work efficiently with the accounts payable in a timely manner to uphold the highest possible customer service.
- Work with production, sales, and marketing teams to align inventory with market demand.
- Own procurement related master data and MRP optimization for purchased items (such as lead time, vendor contracts setup, supplier scorecard data) and ensure a culture of system driven optimization with the purchasing team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.
- Co-manage, mentor, and support Logistics Assistant.
**Required Skills**:
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food & beverage or manufacturing.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations or related field.
- Studying towards or have APICS certificate (an asset)
- Previous experience with MRP and ERP software (SAP Business One preferred)
- Skilled with MS Excel, Power BI, & SQL
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation abilities
- Passion for craft beer is a definite plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to work as part of a team and with various departments within the organization.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
