We are growing and are looking for a career-minded **Logistics Coordinator **to join our team. This position has growth opportunity for the right individual to work with oversized cargo, special projects, ocean, and air shipments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle LTL/FTL trucking within North America
- Handle domestic Canada/USA, import, and export courier shipments
- Obtain quotes from various carriers and evaluate pricing
- Prepare bill of ladings and verify packing lists, purchase orders, customs documents, certificates of origin, NAFTA documentation, B13, hazmat cargo declarations, import and export permits etc.
- Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to carriers, customers and agents in a timely manner
- Dispatch pick-ups to authorized agents and drayage companies, trucking companies, warehouses, and all other parties involved in the shipment
- Track and trace road, intermodal, and courier shipments
- Troubleshoot any issues regarding billing, carriers, clearing agents, warehouses, and all other parties involved in the shipment
- Work with our internal system to accurately report and update all shipment information daily
- Communicate with clients daily to quote, update shipment status, and answer any questions they may have
- Provide high-quality customer service to all customers
- Ensure timely resolution of freight requests
- Act as primary back-up for other Logistics Coordinators during absences
- Assist Logistics Coordinator with other tasks they may require

**Requirements**:

- Works great under pressure
- Dependable and reliable
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Must be able to work well as a part of a team or independently
- Undergraduate degree is an asset
- CIFFA Dangerous Goods Certificate is an asset
- Previous experience with NAFTA, INCOTERMS, HS Codes, B13, and other exports documentation is an asset
