about this team

The Design Assistant Print role sits within the Concept Design Org. Our goal is to elevate the Lululemon product by creating unique and original artworks by hand. Our team will drive excellence in print through the connection of design, development and merchandising.

**a day in the life**:

- A Design Assistant for Print is building knowledge and expertise to become a Print Designer
- Provides support to the Print Design team and creates Seasonal Print colour guides Keeping sample and artwork library up to date
- Maintains archives of Print artwork files and purchased designs on shared server.
- Works closely with Senior Print designers to understand how to create artwork repeat files
- Well informed of current colour trends, art, fashion, design and sport related products through market research to keep ahead of consumer needs.

**qualifications**:

- 0-2 Years industry experience
- BA, BFA or BS in Textile design or similar
- Proficient use of Adobe Photoshop, illustrator also preferable
- Understanding of different print techniques, fabrics and garment construction

workplace arrangement

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
