Dads Printing is an Apparel Printer & Promotional Product Distributor based in Vancouver, Canada. We have been around for about 5 years and operate out of Downtown Vancouver.
- We recently invested in a screenprinting setup and are looking for someone to head that department, you would be working with our CEO, Operations staff and our Digital Production manager to grow the department. **We are looking to make 1-2 Hires to join our team and share the duties in this operation. **_

- Monday to Friday schedule
- 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible)

**Required Qualifications & Experience**
- 1+ years screen printing experience (i.e. apparel, jerseys)
- Ability to operate manual screen press
- Positive attitude and the ability to solve practical problems or issues
- Self-motivated and organized team player
- Attention to detail
- Punctual and reliable
- English communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

**Working Conditions**
- 40 hours per week with 30 minute unpaid break period
- Walking and standing for extended periods & able to lift and carry weight up to 50lbs
- Exposure to work safe ink and chemicals throughout the day
- Consistent physical labor demand

**Responsibilities**:

- Receiving work order jobs for Screen Printing
- Examining work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities
- Designing screen patterns according to customer specification
- Selecting screen size, degreasing agents and emulsion coatings
- Loading screen into printer
- Installing and repositioning screen printing plates and pressure roles
- Calibrating printer before batch is printed
- Running prints and performing quality checks throughout the printing process
- Troubleshooting problems as they arise
- Drying, folding, and packing completed articles after the run
- Clean, maintain and service equipment as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
