We are recruiting for a Rescue Technician to support First Response, a Canadian business unit under Amipbar Response.
**First Response** are your experts in emergency response and planning for Canadian Energy plants and sites. Our team is made up of dedicated active emergency personnel, who not only have experience in the petroleum and energy sectors, but municipal governments and other industrial sectors.

**Responsibilities**
- Respond to emergency situations to protect people, the environment, and property from all types of accidents and emergencies
- Inspect and monitor confined spaces, work at heights as required and ensure rescue and fire equipment is inspected and maintained
- Work within a team environment to complete truck and equipment checks
- Provide emergency medical care and other related services at the scene of an emergency, accident, disaster, or mass casualty incident
- Transport patients to safety during an emergency
- Use proper first aid techniques and equipment in emergency situations
- Attend and be active in worksite meetings
- Complete hazard assessments and rescue plans
- Train within your crew
**Required Certifications**
- OFA1 with Transport Endorsement (OFA3 preferred)
**Required Certifications - Training provided by Ambipar Response**
- Confined space rescue technician certification
- Rope rescue operations certification
- ICS 100
**Additional qualifications**
- Physically fit and capable of performing a rescue
- Valid class 5 drivers license with 6 or less points
- Enthusiastic and team-oriented

- Industrial experience will be considered an asset but not essential

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
