**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are recruiting for Wildlife Rescue Technicians to support First Response Inc., a Canadian business unit under Ambipar Response. **This role is primarily based throughout British Columbia**, requiring regular travel where your fly in/fly out arrangements will be paid for no matter where you reside in the country.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Rescue fire victims and administer emergency medical aid
- Operate pumps connected to high-pressure hoses
- Organize fire caches, positioning equipment for the most effective response
- Participate in fire prevention and inspection programs
**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:
- Current wildfire S-100 / NFPA 1051
- ICS 100
- Current OFA Level 1
- Valid class 5 driver's license with 6 or less points
- WHMIS, H2S Alive
- Industrial experience will be considered an asset but not essential
- Working knowledge with the following programs - SharePoint, Excel, Google, WhatsApp
- Canadian Safety Council UTV Operator
- Confined space rescue, operations level
- Physically fit and capable of performing a rescue
- Enthusiastic and team-oriented

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:
- rescue or fire: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Drivers License (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
