**Job Purpose**

The Site Supervisor is responsible for day to day management of the construction site. Working with the Project Manager to ensure the completion and delivery of the project.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Supervising, coordinating and scheduling the daily activities of construction trades people
- Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Ensure accurate up to date reports
- Ensuring standards for safe working conditions are observed
- Complete and maintain all required site paperwork to be used as documentation and due diligence
- Respond to any health and safety concerns raised by any workplace party
- Ensure that all workers work in compliance with the Provincial legislation and the Company Health and Safety program
- Ensure that work is performed in a safe manner and all required Personal Protective Equipment, devices or clothing, are properly used and maintained
- Conduct regular safety talks with all workplace parties active on that site
- Conduct weekly workplace inspections on active projects under their direct authority
- Ensure work is performed with quality standards in a timely and cost-effective manner

**Qualifications & Skills Required**
- You have at least 4+ years of progressive experience in the commercial and residential building industry as a Site Superintendent
- You are effective in providing supervision, coordination, and scheduling of construction activities and complete projects on time
- Have strong leadership and problem solving, able to build trust and working relationships with sub-contractors and team members
- You have developed competence in areas of safety regulations, workforce management, project execution and quality control
- Hands on construction experience and supervision
- Supervisor Safety Awareness training, Working at Heights training, WHMIS training and First Aid training (optional)
- Own transportation with a valid driver's license
- Knowledge in the operation/use of materials, tools and equipment
- You have the ability to recognize problem situations, evaluate and produce workable solutions to a successful completion
- Graduate from recognized engineering architectural or construction management program is an asset

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
