Job Description - Workday_ - ._ Join our dynamic Finance team for a 20 -month fixed-term position as an Account Payable and Receivable Analyst Reporting to the Manager, Accounting and Procurement, this position works as a team member within the group and with other AESO staff and external contacts as required. The primary responsibilities of this position relate to the tracking, processing and recording of corporate costs and the coordination of payments to suppliers. This role is also accountable for corporate invoicing and related receivables reconciliation and coordination. In this fixed term role, you will be eligible for paid vacation time, four fixed days off per year, and health & dental benefits as part of your overall compensation package. We support a hybrid work environment, where the team is in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are flexible for where you work best. Accountabilities include but are not limited to: - Manage the full cycle accounts payable processes, including: - Process and review purchase orders, invoices, credit card and corporate travel transactions for coding, approvals, supporting documentation and policy compliance.- Support AESO staff with ERP system (Workday) processes related to the Accounts Payable area, including resolving issues encountered.- Prepare settlement runs to process payment of supplier invoices and employee expenses.- - Respond to internal and external inquiries on the status of vendor payments and related coding.- Confirm banking information and verify validity of changes to be made to any supplier banking information.- Management of purchase order administration including change orders, closure of completed purchase orders and supplier override function.- Creating and processing corporate invoices for: - recoverability of certain expenses or project costs incurred, with direction from senior accounting staff.- revenue-generating activities related to various processes within the organization.- Analysis of data and research for the preparation of routine and non-routine journal entries.- Management of the accounting processes supporting the corporate credit cards, including the corporate travel card, from the integration of transactions to the reconciliation of the statements of account.- Subject matter expert for queries related to the Accounts Payable area within the ERP system. Identify best practices and drive optimization of processes in the ERP system, including automation of tasks where applicable.- Various projects and assignments. What you’ll bring to us: - 4+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.- Post secondary education in a business related or accounting field of study is preferred.- Previous experience with an integrated ERP system, preference for Workday.- Proficient typing skills to provide efficient and accurate data entry.- Quick learner, highly motivated and results driven.- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel- English language proficiency with written and spoken clarity.
