Calgary, Canada BRITE-LITE Lighting and Electrical Distributors Full time

**The following skills and knowledge are mandatory**
- Comprehensive understanding of reconciling purchase orders to receiving documents and invoices.
- Knowledge of accounting cycles and procedures.
- Full comprehension of the AP payment process including manual cheque printing and creating files for EFT vendor payments.
- You fully understand how to reconcile vendor and customer statements.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stay on schedule and work efficiently to meet deadlines.

**The following Qualifications and Education are required**

The position requires bookkeeping, organization, communication and computer skills as well as attention to detail. Prior accounts payable experience is mandatory. Some formal post-secondary education from an accredited college is required.
- Experience operating computer accounting software and learn new systems with ease.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in and accounts payable position.
- Experience working with inventory (preferably wholesale / retail experience).
