**Inside Sales**

Privately owned and headquartered in Burlington, Ontario, this company is a global leader in providing IT service management consulting, education, and conferences.

**Working in-office** at our Burlington location, we are looking to invest in individuals who want to grow their sales careers by becoming Inside Sales. As a trainee, you will receive top-level instruction in the areas of solution selling, excellence in customer service, and relationship-building skills. This could be the first step in a sales career that could take you to great heights within the organization as this is a pure development role.

**You will**:

- Participate in a structured trainee program and will show willingness and ability to learn and grow your sales skills
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets by converting qualified leads to sales by proactively promoting our education courses, services, and special events through outbound calls
- Generate new leads by contacting organizations within a defined territory and participate in targeted campaigns/promotions to increase sales
- Accurately record sales activities and follow-up actions in our CRM database
- Prepare and maintain account plans by demonstrating an ability to understand the particulars of accounts, as well as revenue projections and related key business issues
- Take necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner as well as follow up and verify commitments are met afterward

**You have**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent education/experience
- 2-4 years of prior work experience in a call center role, inside sales capacity, preferably in a solution sales environment
- Perseverance and an ability to overcome objections to achieve sales targets
- Well-developed customer skills, and excellent communication skills including written and spoken skills
- A strong desire to pursue a professional sales career; desire to build foundational selling experience
- Exceptional phone manner with strong listening skills, and an ability to influence others
- Above-average critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to grasp many different business concepts
- A proficient level of knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and proven skills in internet-based research
- The ability to learn about our products and services to promote them to our customers
- Superior organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

This is an opportunity with a starting base salary between $42000 - $50000 / year plus uncapped commission; offering an incentive to increase your earning potential based on sales targets.
