FPH Group is a manufacturer of highly engineered products, primarily supplying the defense industry. We look to provide Design Solutions to some of the more complex challenges our customers face.

We are seeking experienced manufacturing/ autobody painters that can work from 4:00pm - 2:30am (Mon - Thu, 4 x 10 hr shifts)

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**DUTIES**:

- hang and tag parts to be painted
- mix primer and paint as required
- spray both primer and topcoat to finished surfaces
- maintain booth log of both parts and batches
- clean and maintain all equipment used
- Monitor production processes to ensure high efficiency and throughput while exceeding customer’s quality expectations
- ensure all health and safety rules are followed
- ensure jobs are completed within required time schedule
- follow regulations and policies as outlined in company’s employee handbook
- follow requirements as required by controlled goods registration and other defense sector registrations (i.e. itar, etc.)
- other duties as required

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Must be a Canadian Citizen
- minimum 1 year as a manufacturing production painter and/or autobody painter
- Must be able to successfully pass a controlled goods security assessment
- carc (chemical agent resistant coatings) painting experience is an asset
- high school diploma
- effective problem solving skills
- able to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal
- ability to follow directions
- ability to keep work area and tools clean at all times
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- reliable and punctual
- health and safety conscious
- ability and willingness to acquire new skills
- Able to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate initiative, reliability and positive team attitude
