We are a growing heavy equipment engineering and industrial manufacturing company located in St. Thomas, Ontario. We have an immediate requirement for an Industrial Painter that will be dedicated to working with highly skilled team to execute the manufacture and assembly of new-to-market rail and mining vehicles.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Adherence to Painting Specifications noted on Customer Work Orders
- Keeping the work space neat and tidy
- Sandblasting to required specifications
- PSX-700 painting experience concidered an asset.
- Cleaning the booth
- Shop painting of parts
- Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mix own paint
- Knowledge on prepping material for paint
- Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and procedures
- Operate Spray Paint Equipment
- Operate Sandblasting Equipment as needed
- Clean product before painting
- Clean and maintain painting equipment
- Install decals on finished machines
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications and Skills**

Minimum 2 years of direct work experience in the Industrial Spray Painting, sandblasting industry and or protective coating industry.

Qualifications:

- Should have experience in most of the above listed job responsibilities
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and a team member
- Previous experience operating a lift truck is an asset
- Ability to stand for 8 hours, with repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 50lbs)

Wages:
Hours:

- Normal hours are from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the ability to work overtime as required periodically. Avra runs a 4 x 10 hour shift operation during the summer months, Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with Fridays off.

Note:

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
