**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Associate - Afternoon Shift is responsible for operating their assigned production line and meeting all established standards of safety, quality, productivity and good housekeeping within Heritage Coffee Co. Ltd.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions and following all Safety Rules at Heritage Coffee Co. Ltd.

Responsible for following all work instructions and complying with Company standards on the use of personal protective equipment.

Responsible for following all Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines and policies in letter and in spirit. Report all, major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Setting up the production line for efficient and safe production with finished product conforming to all pre-specified quality standards including but not limited to:

- Ensuring all code date units/ label printers are properly set
- Setting up and cleaning all scales to maintain accurate weight control.
- Ensuring correct materials are used as per the Bill of Materials (BOM) on shop order
- Ensuring package integrity and appearance meet or exceed minimum acceptable levels.
- Meeting set minimum quotas each day to align with the production plan.
- Ensuring all size/flavor/blend/sku changeovers are efficient and performed within expected time.
- Ensuring all equipment and work areas are kept clean and organized.
- Actively communicating with all members of production team (Production Supervisor, Material Handlers, and Maintenance Staff, etc.) to avoid any possible line downtime.
- Trouble-shooting machine problems and acting upon a solution to resolve the situation.
- Stopping the line if you believe there is a problem with either the product or the machinery.
- Assisting with any other jobs or duties as requested.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
