As we continue to grow, **our HR team** is excited to welcome a new **HR & Payroll Specialist** to help support our incredible employees across retail, production, logistics, and head office operations.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Director of HR, the **HR & Payroll Specialist** will provide **full-cycle HR and payroll support** for 500+ employees across multiple locations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys balancing people operations with technical execution—recruiting top talent one day, processing payroll the next, and building a culture of support every day in between.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, high-performing HR team where your contributions will have a direct impact on our people, processes, and continued growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

**HR Generalist Functions**
- Lead **full-cycle recruitment**: job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Support **retention, engagement, and performance management** across departments
- Administer **training programs**, support employee development, and maintain compliance (health & safety, food safety certifications, etc.)
- Guide managers on performance improvement, **disciplinary action**, and **terminations**:

- Assist with **policy development**, SOPs, and training material creation
- Maintain HRIS and employee records: contracts, acknowledgments, certifications, etc.

**Payroll & HRIS Administration**
- Manage **full-cycle weekly payroll** for 500+ employees via **ADP Workforce Now**:

- Oversee **ADP modules**, including the ATS, HRIS, time & attendance, and benefits
- Troubleshoot pay issues, ensure data accuracy, and maintain strict confidentiality
- Prepare payroll reports and support year-end processing and audit requirements

**Who You Are**
- 3-5+ years of combined HR and payroll experience, preferably in **food, retail, or manufacturing**:

- Proven **ADP Workforce Now** experience and the ability to manage payroll for large teams
- Comfortable working across all HR areas**:recruitment, development, performance, policy, training, terminations**, and **HR admin**:

- A strong communicator who builds trust at all levels
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
- Post-secondary education in HR or Business; **CHRP designation** is an asset
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn and optimize systems and processes
