We are seeking a motivated individual to join our mechanical team - estimating and managing construction projects. We are a well established mechanical contractor, plumbing and HVAC, mainly focusing on commercial & industrial projects in both Bid & Spec and Design-Build. We have proudly served Winnipeg and its surrounding communities for over 30 years.

Estimating duties will include:

- site visits if required
- full review of tender drawings and specifications
- providing accurate information to obtain material and sub-contractor pricing
- performing labour, material, and equipment take-offs and pricing
- accumulating all necessary information, and assist with submitting accurate bids with attention to detail and deadlines
- effectively organizing all information and estimates.
- manage project performance to meet schedule, budget, and contract specifications
- manage cost control, progress estimates, contract change management

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the mechanical industry in estimating and project management. Applicants must be able to multi-task and manage their time effectively. Attention to accuracy and detail is extremely important. Post-secondary education is not mandatory, but is beneficial. Applicants must be able to work well with others and bring a positive attitude. Strong mathematical, blueprint reading, and decision making skills will be necessary.
